Recovery from exploitative systems & invisible grief.

Psychology-informed. Shame free. Quietly supportive.

You're Not Broken...

You were navigating systems that caused harm and blamed you for it.

Dear Society exists for those who, like me, are grieving losses that aren't always understood or recognised.

  • Loss of identity

  • Loss of health

  • Loss of community

  • Loss of trust in yourself

Whether you're living with disability or illness, grieving a pet, leaving the MLM world, or recovering from exploitative cultures that promised empowerment but delivered shame...

You are not alone and you are not weak.

This is a space for recovery without pressure, performance or toxic positivity.

What Dear Society Supports...

Dear Society offers psychology-informed education and gentle recovery tools for people impacted by systems that profit from silence and self-blame.

We help support people navigating:

  • Chronic illness, disability, and medical dismissal.

  • Shame, guilt and identity loss.

  • Leaving MLMs and high-control business cultures.

  • Grief that doesn't feel validated.

  • Deprogramming hustle culture, toxic positivity, and "mindset" abuse.

This is not therapy.

This is not coaching.

This is understanding, language, and relief.

Our Approach

Dear Society is built on three principles:

Psychology-informed

Grounded in behavioural science, trauma-aware frameworks, and real-world understanding - not pop psychology or blame.

Shame-free

We do not frame harm as personal failure. If something hurt you, it deserves compassion, not correction.

Gentle by design

No urgency. No pressure. No constant output. Recovery happens at your pace.

Hello,

My name is Charlotte.

I created Dear Society as a psychology graduate with diplomas in grief, pet loss grief, addiction therapy, and pain management and lived experience of exploitation, illness and loss.

This work is shaped by both professional training and personal understanding.

Not as an expert talking down, but as someone who believes that people deserve clarity and space to heal, instead of blame.

Please check out the resources page for helpful, self-guided resources.

If you would prefer a more personal approach, then I also offer 1-1 sessions.

If you're here, this might be for you if:

  • You left something that harmed you and don't feel "fine".

  • You're tired of being told to reframe pain into productivity.

  • You want understanding, not fixing.

  • You need support without having to speak or perform.

You don't need to rush.

You don't need to explain yourself.

You're welcome here.

Dear Society...

Healing shouldn't require pretending the harm didn't happen.
